Each project is unique depending on the scope of work needed in the space.

We advise customers to be prepared to be without a functional kitchen for 3-4 weeks in total on most kitchen projects.

5 / How long will it take to manufacture my kitchen?

Most kitchens take between 3-4 weeks to manufacture in our factory before they are ready for the installation phase.  Lead times vary, but we often have an 8-12 week timeframe.

6 / How does the installation process work?

New build - Cabinetry installation 2-5 days, bench tops 10 working days later, plumbing and electrical, second phase of install any on bench cabinetry.

6 / Can you repair my drawer?

We only use Blum drawer hardware as it is the best.

Some hardware on the market can break and the drawer front brackets are the common weak point.  We see a lot of broken brackets but although these look similar, each manufacturer makes these in a different way so they are not interchangeable without replacing the entire drawer.

If there is a brand marking on the hardware, you can sometimes find a replacement part via hardware stores.  If not, it is unfortunately one of the many budget imported hardware options that cannot be replaced.

6 / Can you fix my broken hinge?

We only use Blum hinges.

Most frequently broken hinge is the corner door hinge as it has a lot of pressure due to the weight of the two doors when extended.

6 / More information on Blum.

Hinges, lift systems, box and runner systems by Blum continue to provide powerful functionality under severe conditions. They prove this by passing our stringent motion and load tests. And we only launch products that have gone through our meticulous testing process, as do our customers and partners in the furniture industry worldwide.

For example our hinges are tested to 200,000 opening and closing cycles.
